Eczema shows alot of signs and symptoms. According to Health Line, the most common symptoms include pruritus or itching; a burning sensation or pain’ red bumps that may ooze, crust, or drain, warm and tender skin; raw, scaly, or thickened skin; dry, red, or rough skin; inflammation; and cuts.

There are alot of treatment for eczema, however, the doctor advise that people who has this kind of disorder should have home medicines for supplemental management for the skin.

Coconut Oil

Coconut oil can be used as a remedy for eczema. According to Wellness Mama, coconut oil can help relieve itching and pain to the skin condition. However, people who is allergic to coconut is not allowed to use this,but they can use hypoallergenic lotion, which really helps. Coconut oil also goes through the skin layers and fills in empty intercellular spaces that results to lack of moisture. In this way, skin drying and irritation will be avoided. The person has to apply the coconut oil onto the affected skin areas and wait for it to dry. The oil can stay for a day if needed.

Butter

Butter is also a remedy for eczema. Butter contains fats, fats can be able to repair, heal, as well as soften damaged skin and reduce inflammation. The ingredients include two tablespoons of (shea) butter, two tablespoons beeswax, six tablespoons coconut oil, four tablespoons jojoba oil, lavender oil, and glass jars.

To prepare, the beeswax and jojoba should be melted completely. Then, add the coconut oil and mix them together. Then lower the heat and add the butter and stir it until it melts. The butter should be added last because it is a little more heat sensitive and it may become grainy if over-exposed. After that, transfer the mixture in a jar. Add one to two drops of lavender oil before closing the jar. Apply this to where the skin disorder is located.

High-Fiber Food Selections

Eating high fiber foods is another remedy for eczema. According to Dr. Axe’s official website, fiber can remove the toxins from the body, such as free radicals. This connects to the remedies for eczema, since the skin condition may be due to the presence of toxins in the body. The person should consume at least 30 grams of fiber daily. The best source of fiber are fruits, vegetables, grains, legumes, seeds, nuts, and oats.

Eczema is not too much like tuberculosis, heart disease, or cancer, but it does provide discomfort to a person, that may affect his activities of daily living and self-esteem. Thus, it is vital to seek medical consult for proper assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, health education, and evaluation.
